Made from richly flavoured minced cured meat, this is our secret ingredient to add depth to a bolognese, stew or ragu. Be warned, once you’ve added this to your recipe you won’t be able to go back!

A real game changer for the dishes you already make. Think of it as a meaty stock cube and crumble it into your bolognese, soups, stews or ragus it will reward you with a seriously rich flavour.

There are no rules here but for reference we use one pack (100g) to about 750g of beef for a bolognese.

We are passionate about this product as it champions our nose to tail ethos limiting waste by using the off cuts from our other sliced packs.

Ingredients

Rare breed pork, sea salt, dextrose, garlic, muscovado sugar, freshly ground spices (inc. pink peppercorns), thyme, rosemary, lemon, chillies, preservatives: potassium nitrate, sodium nitrite, antioxidant: ascorbic acid.

Storage Instructions

Store in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight. Once opened refrigerate and consume within 3 days. Suitable for home freezing.
